Who we are

CannyCaller is a trading name of Daud Bhatti, a sole trader based in the UK. Daud Bhatti is the data controller for the personal data described here. If you have any question about your data, contact Daud Bhatti at hello@cannycaller.co.uk.

What we collect

When you book a Free 20 Minute Test Drive, ask for a call back or email us, we collect what you give us: your name, business name, trade, phone number, the best time to call, and, if you add them, your email address and anything you write in your message. If you book a time online, we also receive the booking details you enter.

This website does not use tracking cookies. We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across other websites. See our cookies page.

Why we use it

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in replying to an enquiry you sent us, and, if you go ahead, taking steps to enter into and perform a contract with you. We will not add you to marketing lists or share your details with anyone to market to you.

Who else handles it

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they offer under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

If you don't become a customer, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep your details for as long as you're a customer and then for up to 6 years for tax and accounting records.

Your callers' data

When CannyCaller answers calls for your business, we handle your callers' details on your behalf and only to pass the enquiry to you. In that role we act as your data processor under a written agreement, and you remain the controller of your customers' data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email hello@cannycaller.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
